Walls
Above round tables will be posters of famous mathematicians, such as Isaac Newton, Leonardo Fibonacci, and Pythogora of Samos.
Above whiteboard will have classroom rules on posters so you can see them everyday.
Inside doorway will have a bulletin board where upcoming events will be posted.
Desks
Desks are arranged so you can have a clear view of the whiteboard.
Desks are arranged so that when you enter the classroom, you can walk behind the desks to go to your seat.
Desks are arranged to easily turn in papers into the test basket on the shelf by passing papers up and to the left.
Desks are arranged for easy transition so that you can move from lecture to the small group layout.
Desks are arranged into groups of two rows each so that I can have an easy access to every student, which will allow me roam freely around the room or work one-on-one with a student.
Round Table 1
Will contain the tardy log.
Is positioned right inside the door to allow you to sign the log, walk to the back of the classroom, and take your seat without disrupting class.
Round Table 2
Will contain a tray with notes and handouts for you to pick up when you have been absent.
Is positioned near the door (by the tardy table) so you can pick them up as you head to your desk.
Storage Units
Will contain items such as extra calculators, tests, etc.
Will remained locked at all times.
Will only be accessible by Mrs. Elliott.
Shelves
Are arranged so you can easily turn in papers without moving from your desk.
Will contain supplies such as rulers, graph paper, and calculators.
Shelf by Mrs. Elliott's desk will hold Mrs. Elliott's binders, handouts, and lesson plans.
